古典之美：2014年秋季公演 Classical Beauties: 2014 Fall Concert

法拉盛公立圖書館及海外崑曲社將11月16日星期六下午2點，聯合舉辦「古典之美：2014年秋季公演」，海外崑曲社藝術家吳德璋、程敏，著名京劇藝術家張景濤、李迎春、蔣澤揚，與崑曲傳習班學員及著名戲曲演奏家黃世榮、黃承林、吳亮、宋百如等，聯合演出經典崑曲折子戲〈驚夢〉、〈小宴〉及著名京劇〈斷橋〉，與愛好藝術的朋友們分享被聯合國教科文組織評選為「人類口頭和非物質文化遺產代表作」的崑曲和京劇表演藝術。演出地點為樓下劇場，免費入場。

On Sunday, November 16, 2014, 2 p.m. the Queens Public Library in Flushing and Kunqu Society presented “Classical Beauties: 2014 Fall Concert.” Kunqu Society artists Mr. Dezhang Wu, Mr. Min Cheng, and outstanding Peking Opera artists Mr. Jingtao Zhang, Ms. Yingchun Li and Ms. Julia Wang, performed with students of the Kunqu Workshop, accompanied by well known musicians Shirong Huang, Chenglin Huang, Liang Wu, Bairu Song and others. Together they presented two Kunqu plays, "An Interrupted Dream" and "A Banquet for Two," and one Jingju piece, "The Broken Bridge," to introduce to the general public the art and beauty of Kunqu and Peking Opera, both proclaimed as “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The event was free and held in the auditorium.
